About the Project

As a part of the Rhyll Boating Facility Upgrade, the existing playspace has been upgraded with enhanced soft and hard landscape elements. The local level playspace was been designed in accordance with Council’s Playspace strategy 2017, to provide a facelift to the existing playspace area located south side of the boating facility. Extensive community consultation resulted in a finalised detailed concept plan to revamp the existing playspace. This project has been staged due to budget constraints and the excessive increase in material and labour costs.

Stage 1 of the construction included the installation of be-spoke play items as well as planting, pathways and a basket swing.

Stage 2 of the construction will begin in March 2023.
