• The Anderson Street Reserve Master Plan develops a greenfield site for the active and passive recreation needs for the San Remo community. Catering for the wider population that incorporates universal design principles such as a play space, universal fitness area, shelter, plantings for shade, accessible parking, and pathways to link it all together.
• Creating a connection from the new residential development to the township.

This project is funded by Council ($100,000) and the State Government ($517,000) in the order of $617,000.

• New concrete footpaths to allow for better access across the park, including accessible car parking spaces on Anderson Street.
• A new shelter with a drinking water fountain including a dog bowl.
• A new play space, universal fitness area, new picnic table and seating.
• Sections of the open space area will be closed to the public during the construction period.
• Appropriate traffic and pedestrian control measures will be implemented onsite. This will be a construction zone. We would like to advise that for your own safety and others, access will not be available to the public. A temporary perimeter fence will be installed to stop public access to the construction site.
• The use of heavy plant and machinery including noisy, and vibration works for construction including use of trucks for removal or delivery of materials.
