About the Project
Bass Coast Shire Council intends on applying to the Department of Transport and Planning (DTP) to review the speed limit on Graham Street and South Dudley Road.
It is proposed that the existing 60km/h zone from Billson Street to north of South Dudley Road be changed to a 50km/h zone, and that the existing 80km/h zone from South Dudley Road to White Road be changed to a 60km/h zone as per the sketch below.
The requirement for these speed reductions is the increase in use of the abutting properties, with increases in both commercial and residential development occurring near White Road and increased commercial and residential activity on Graham Street.
