Project Summary

Bass Coast Shire Council appointed Super Paving Pty Ltd under annual supply contract to carry out Footpath Renewal and Flood Mitigation Works in St Kilda Street, Inverloch.

Construction works commenced on 20 March and were completed on 12 April 2024.

The aim of this project is to contain and manage stormwater runoff and catchment flow within the designated drainage & road reserve area.

These works are fully funded by Council at a cost of $44,000 and are part of Council’s 2023/24 Capital Works Program.

· Removal of the existing footpath and crossovers.

· Replacement of the existing footpath and crossovers to new height and alignment.

· Reinstatement works as required.

· For safety reasons, this section of the new pathway will be a construction zone. Appropriate traffic/pedestrian measures will be in place for the duration of the works.

· The use of plant and machinery including noisy works such as earthworks, saw cutting and use of trucks delivering concrete.

· Please be aware that there will be limited access to the affected properties while works are being completed.
