Bass Coast Shire Council intends to apply to the Department of Transport and Planning (DTP) to change the speed limit on the roads including Settlement Rd, west of Red Rocks Rd to have a 40 km/h speed limit.

Council has received feedback that there is confusion over the speed limit in the area, and as it is a local area and the subject roads are not main routes, a 40 km/h speed limit is considered appropriate.
