As part of the Rhyll Boat Ramp upgrade works Council undertook seawall extension works that commenced in February 2023.

  • The three parking bays on Southeastern side close to the pedistraian crossing will be fenced off for contractor’s site shed and temporary material storage.
  • There will be no access to the non-powered vessel ramp during the works, while the access to the Boat Ramp & the Jetty will be available.

The cost of the works is in the order of $200,000 which is jointly funded by the Victorian Fisheries Authority ($100,000), the Department of Energy Environment and Climate Action ($50,000) and Bass Coast Shire Council ($50,000).
