On behalf of Better Boating Victoria (BBV), Council wishes to advise of fender upgrade works and installation of new pontoon lighting at the Rhyll Boat Ramp next week (starting 26 April).
Better Boating Victoria (BBV) have engaged Simpson Construction Company Pty Ltd to undertake these works.
Please note there will be some single lane closures and parking bays closed off for material storage. See What to expect for more information.

- Installation of rubber fenders is complete
- Pontoon lights still to be installed. Awaiting high tide for installation.
This project aims to improve safety for boat users and the public, at this facility.
- There will be single lanes closures on the boat ramp whilst undertaking the rubber fender installation works. The new rubber fenders will only be placed on the inside fenders of the boat ramp.
- Parking bays in the middle adjacent to the pedestrian crossing will be fenced off for the Contractor’s site shed and temporary material storage.
