  • Kerb and pit renewal works are needed to minimise the level of maintenance required in repairing road pavement’s due to loss of function in drainage infrastructure. The kerb and pit renewal works will ensure that stormwater flows freely to our underground drainage network.

The projects listed are also linked to our Asphalt, Kerb Renewal and Spray Sealing Renewal Programs (further information to be provided) which will start from November 2023.

  • As part of these works, new concrete may be placed through landowner’s driveways. Access to their properties will be restricted for a four-day period following from when the concrete is poured. This is required to allow the concrete to set properly before any vehicles can use the driveway. Our Contractor will advise residents, in advance, of any works affecting access to their properties.
  • The use of plant and machinery including noisy, and vibration works such as saw cutting, concrete works and the use of trucks for removal or delivery of materials.
  • Council acknowledges that it can be a challenge to deliver the necessary works and not affect road users, especially when much of the work is determined by weather conditions and availability of contractors. It is expected that there will be some delays to traffic during the works period. Contractors will take all necessary steps to minimise delays to road users. Our Contractor will notify nearby residents and businesses that may be impacted by these works. Appropriate traffic control measures will be implemented onsite during these works.
