• The aim of this project is to ensure the urban road network is safe and sustainable for the community into the future and to maintain appropriate levels of service.
• Asphalt will be a smooth and comfortable driving surface.

This project is part of Council’s adopted 2023/24 Capital Works Road Renewal Program and is fully funded at a cost of $315,000.

• Road pavement works between property numbers 10 to 23 including road sealing as highlighted on the map below.
• Some delays to traffic and abutting landowners is expected during the works. There will be some road closures in place with detours provided. It is advised to plan your trip accordingly.
• Access to properties will be maintained, although some short delays may occur. Emergency vehicle access to properties will be maintained at all times.
• The use of heavy plant and machinery, including noisy and vibration works such as earthworks, saw cutting, profiling, compaction of road pavement, asphalt laying and use of trucks for removal or delivery of materials.
• Our contractor will notify nearby residents who may be impacted by these works. A letter drop will be carried out by our contractor prior to the commencement of works. Landowners will also be advised that their motor vehicles are not to be parked on the road.
