Project Summary

Bass Coast Shire Council’s Infrastructure Delivery department completed works on the Tulloch Street Dalyston Bus Shelter / Rotunda. Details of the project are outlined below.

About the Project:

  • Construction of a Bus Shelter and Community Rotunda at the Tulloch Street Park in Dalyston
  • The new structure will provide shelter to bus users as well as the general community and users of the park grounds. It will be linked via a concrete pathway to the bus stop.
  • The works will involve construction of a concrete slab base and pathway link to the existing footpath and bus stop.
  • Construction of a 5 metre x 5 metre powder coated aluminium and Colorbond steel structure with a skillion roof and screen walls for wind and weather breaks.
  • Connection of roof to the stormwater system

This project is jointly funded by Bass Coast Shire Council to the value of $68,000.

  • The project will have minimal impact on community movement through Tulloch Street and will not impact access to the playground and surrounding parkland.
  • Appropriate traffic control measures will be in place throughout the duration of works, including road closures, reduced speed limits and detours.
  • Local resident and emergency access will always be available during the construction works.
