Project Summary

Bass Coast Shire Council has appointed Super Paving Pty Ltd to build a new footpath along Cuttriss Street, Inverloch.

On site works will begin from 15 April 2024 and are scheduled for completion by the end of June 2024, subject to favourable weather, contractor, and supplier availability.

  • This project represents an investment in the upgrading of our footpath network as part of the Road Safety Asset Management Plan (RSAMP) and will improve access for pedestrians.
  • This project will improve safety for all footpath users with greater and continuous connection and accessibility.

This project is fully funded through the Road Safety Asset Management Plan (RSAMP) at a cost of $310,000 as part of the adopted Capital Works Program 2023/24.

  • Construction of a 1.5-metre-wide fibre reinforced concrete path on Cuttriss Street between properties 2A and 62, connected to the existing footpath on the east side.
  • Service adjustments for water, power and Telstra services, and alterations to stormwater pit lids, as required.
  • Minor vegetation trimming to allow for construction of the path and permits applied for tree removal between numbers 42 and 54.
  • Access to your property will be restricted for a four-day period from when the concrete is poured. This is required to allow the concrete to set properly before any vehicles can use the driveways. Our contractor will advise, in advance, of any works affecting access to property.
  • Appropriate traffic and pedestrian control measures will be implemented onsite during these works. This will be a construction zone and, for your own safety and that of others, access will be restricted.
  • The use of heavy plant and machinery including noisy, and vibration works for construction including saw cutting and the use of trucks for removal or delivery of materials.
