From February to April 2022 Council engaged with community members with opportunities to provide input into the development of the strategy through multiple in-person and online forums.

We held seven (7) listening posts across Bass Coast, received completed surveys from 109 participants and reached out to targeted community groups. In these discussions we asked when, why, how our community wanted us to communicate and what content they were interested in. We also included feedback from 38 submissions received during the Community Engagement Policy consultation in 2021.

The draft Communications and Engagement Strategy document is now on public exhibition and open for final feedback before going to Council to be considered for adoption.
