Project Summary
Bass Coast Shire Council appointed Wiltrack Earthmoving Pty Ltd under our annual supply contract to carry out drainage improvement works along a section of Club Avenue in Inverloch.
The aim of this project was to improve shedding of water from the road surface. These works will give residents along the street greater protection against flooding from excess road surface stormwater during rain events.
These works are fully funded by Council in the order of $25,000.
- Construction of two (2) side entry pits and laying about 70 metres of 300mm diameter stormwater pipe.
- For safety reasons, this section of the street will be a construction zone. Appropriate traffic/pedestrian measures will be in place throughout the duration of the works.
- The use of plant and machinery including noisy works such as earthworks, saw cutting and use of trucks delivering concrete.
- Please be aware that there will be limited access to some driveways for a short period while works are being completed. The contractor will notify residents in advance.
