The aim of this project is important in ensuring the urban road network is safe and sustainable for the community into the future and appropriate levels of service are maintained.

This project was fully funded by Council in the order of $280,000 as part of the 2023-24 Capital Works Program.

• Some delays to traffic and abutting landowners during the works. You may experience delays between 5 to 10 minutes, whilst these works are being carried out. There will be sections of road closures in place with detours provided. It is advised to plan your trip accordingly.
• Access to properties will be maintained, although some short delays may occur. As always, emergency vehicle access to properties will be maintained at all times.
• Use of heavy plant and machinery including noisy and vibration works such as earthworks, saw cutting, profiling, asphalt laying and use of trucks for removal or delivery of materials.
• Our contractor will notify nearby residents and businesses that may be impacted by these works to minimise disruptions and allow the successful completion of the work. A letter drop will be carried out by our contractor prior to the commencement of works. Landowners will also be advised that their motor vehicles are not to be parked on the roads.
