Bass Coast Shire Council wishes to advise of the commencement of Floor sanding and Finishing works to the Wonthaggi Town Hall in June 2023.
Frankston Floors have been awarded the Contract for this project, and these works will be undertaken as a part of Council’s Building Fitout Priority Program 2022/23.
The primary objective of these works is to renew the internal and external finishes of the Wonthaggi Town Hall including all flooring.
The renewal of the flooring of this facility is required before deterioration beyond repair.
The total project cost is in the order of $23,000.
The project will include, but is not limited to:
- Sanding of the timber flooring and re-finishing.
- The project will result in some noise and minor dust inside the hall at times. Some odour from finishes.
- Hall will be unavailable for bookings until works have been completed (the end of June 2023).
