Project Summary

Bass Coast Shire Council’s Infrastructure Services Department is set to begin Wonthaggi Dog Park enhancements, including installing additional bench seating and shelter, accessible car space and parking bays, water fountain, footpaths and bollards.

About the Project:

The project includes installing car spaces, bollards and street furniture at the Wonthaggi Reserve Dog Park.

The works include:

  • Preliminaries including mobilisation, site establishment & traffic control.
  • Installation of 2 x car spaces & 1 x accessible car space.
  • Installation of concrete path from car spaces to fenced dog area.
  • Installation of bollards to edge of road reserve.
  • Installation of drinking fountain, bench seating and shelter.

This project is funded by Bass Coast Shire Council at a cost of $34,996.00.

  • Temporary barricading will be in place to secure the work site and keep people from entering the construction site.
  • Appropriate traffic and pedestrian control measures will be implemented during these works.
  • The project will result in minor noise from plant and machinery used for construction, including earthmoving equipment, concrete, and the use of trucks for delivery of crushed rock and concrete.
