Jaycee Picnic Area Playspace, Ventnor
A new playspace is complete
Each year, Council refreshes some of its oldest playspaces with new equipment, safety improvements and minor landscaping to improve the experiences of residents and visitors of all ages.
In 2026 we have refreshed four playspaces.
- Jaycee Picnic Area Playspace, Ventnor: We have refreshed the old combination unit and add some more challenging items.
- Rodney Court Playspace, Wonthaggi: We have focused on junior equipment to complement nearby playspaces.
- Strongs Reserve Playspace, Wonthaggi: We have created a treehouse style tower and spinner to complement nearby playspaces.
- Park Parade Playspace, Cape Paterson: We have improved the landscape and created a fun space that complements nearby playspaces.
