Have a mobile business? Your next opportunity could be just around the corner.

Bass Coast Shire Council is launching an exciting new 12-month Mobile Business Pilot Program, creating opportunities for businesses to reach new customers, explore new locations and be part of our vibrant local economy.

From established mobile operators to those looking to get a new business idea off the ground, the program is all about supporting entrepreneurship, encouraging fresh ideas and bringing something new to Council-managed spaces across Bass Coast.

About the Project

We're opening up selected locations across Bass Coast for mobile businesses to trade as part of a 12-month pilot program.

Businesses can apply through the Expression of Interest (EOI) form below, nominating their preferred location and sharing what their business offers. Applications will be assessed against the EOI criteria, with one business selected for each available site.

The pilot program will run from December 2026 to December 2027, with exact trading dates to be confirmed in each successful applicant's licence agreement.

The program presents an exciting opportunity for mobile businesses to reach new customers, explore new markets and grow their operations in some of Bass Coast's popular locations.

The pilot will also help Council explore how mobile trading can complement existing businesses, create lively public spaces and support future business opportunities.

Businesses are encouraged to review the Program Guidelines for further information on available locations, eligibility requirements, assessment criteria and conditions of participation before submitting an EOI.
