Council have identified structural issues with the McGrath Rd Bridge, currently operating under reduced load limit of 5t.

Shoreline Civil and Marine have been engaged to undertake Structural assessment and investigation works, commencing on 16 and 17 April 2025.

• The bridge will be under traffic management between 11am and 6pm on 16 April.
• A full closure will be in place on 17 April between the hours of 7am and 4pm and traffic will need to use an alternative detour route (via Bass Highway).

Council appreciates community understanding and ongoing compliance with the current reduced load limits and impending temporary closure of the structure.
