Project Summary
Bass Coast Shire Council’s Infrastructure Services Department will shortly commence the construction of final capping at Wonthaggi Closed Landfill at 180 Cameron Street, Wonthaggi, in accordance with the EPA approved Technical Specification, associated construction drawings and Construction Quality Assurance Plan.
About the Project:
This project will include construction of final capping in layers – intermediate, subsoil and topsoil/mulch with the installation of an infiltration drainage system, cuspated sheet geo-composite drain and stormwater infrastructures.

This project is funded by Bass Coast Shire Council with a total cost of $7,200,000.

- Appropriate traffic and

machinery and vibration works for construction including use of trucks for
removal and delivery of materials.
- Increased trucks traffic in
Cameron Street with proper traffic management.
