About the project

We're planning for a safer, healthier, and more creative Bass Coast.

Every four years, Bass Coast Shire Council develops a plan to set priorities and create strategies that improve community health.

The Healthy, Safe and Resilient Bass Coast Plan 2025-2029 sets the strategic direction for improving the health, wellbeing and equity of everyone who lives, works and plays in Bass Coast.

It builds on the strong foundations of the 2021-2025 Plan while introducing a more community-led, place-based and partnership driven approach.

Developing the draft

During the engagement period, Council engaged with over 400 people including children and people living with disability to determine the key themes that would inform the Healthy, Safe & Resilient Bass Coast Plan 2025-2029 and the Disability Action Plan 2025-2029.

Thank you!
