Project Summary
This project involves the upgrade of the Tennis Court lighting and control panel. The existing court lighting is currently non-operational, restricting use of the facility to daylight hours, particularly during winter months.
The upgrade will replace the faulty lighting infrastructure and control equipment, improving safety, accessibility, and community participation. Once completed, the Tennis Court will be available for public use into the evening, with extended operating hours.
The works include the following:
- 4 new LED Lights fitted to existing light poles
- Push button operation on a 1-hour timer
- Timed usage so it can’t be used late into the evening.
$19,900.00 Ex. GST - Fully funded by Bass Coast Shire Council
- No native vegetation removal required during the works.
- Minor disruption to surrounding areas; restricted public access during construction.
- Appropriate traffic and pedestrian control measures will be implemented during these works.
