Project Summary
This project involves the installation of a shelter, BBQ, and associated works at Fred Gration Recreation Reserve in Coronet Bay.
Located in the heart of the town, Fred Gration recreation reserve is a key recreational and community hub, and the project aims to enhance picnic facilities to better accommodate groups and social gatherings.
- Site preparations, earthworks, and drainage work
- Installation of shelter, BBQ, picnic setting, drinking fountain etc
- Concreting works including concreting paving
- Resurfacing to disable car parking space
- Soft landscaping works
$174,000 funded by Bass Coast Shire Council
- The use of heavy plant and machinery including noisy, and vibration works such as demolition, earthworks, and use of trucks for delivering concrete, soil, and other construction materials to site.
- Temporary fencing will be in place to secure the work site and keep people from entering to the construction site.
- Appropriate traffic and pedestrian control measures will be implemented during these works.
