Council has received feedback from our community regarding concerns about pedestrian safety in the Cowes East precinct. After an investigation Council has prepared a proposal and is now seeking your feedback.

The proposal is for a speed limit reduction and traffic calming devices in the areas shown on the map below. These changes aim to encourage people to walk and cycle, as well as reducing the risk and severity of crashes.

Council intends to use your feedback to help design for this project. The completed design will assist Council to seek funding for construction.

• Print the hard copy feedback form (found on this page or come to a Customer & Visitor centre to have it printed for you) and return to Council by 15 December.
