About the Community Grants Program

Do you know about Council's Community Grants Program? Applied before? Never looked into it? Either way, we want your feedback!

Bass Coast Shire Council is reviewing its Community Grants Program, and we want your feedback to help shape its future.

The grants program helps local not for profit community groups, organisations and volunteers to fund projects, activities and initiatives that benefit our community. From equipment to festivals, climate action projects to hall upgrades, these grants make local ideas happen.

  • Available twice a year through the Community Grants rounds only
  • For larger community projects
  • Three major projects are funded each Community Grants round under the following categories: Other Projects, Festivals, Events and Celebrations, or Minor Capital Works
