Council owns or manages a considerable number of land parcels within the Shire, which is used for community services, sporting facilities, trails, car parking, roads and drains and more!

Bass Coast Shire Council's draft Property Strategy provides strategic direction for the management of its property portfolio for the long-term best interest of the community, whilst aligning to the Community Vision 2041.

The Strategy identifies the four guiding principles, strategic guidance and objectives for the retention, acquisition, disposal, use and development of Council owned or managed property to achieve optimum financial and community benefit.
