The Dino Hunters Playground is an immersive and exciting landscape for all ages to enjoy. The design is rooted in the Bass Coast’s rich Palaeohistory, and weaves together wonder, science and imaginative play. It seeks to excite the senses, promote discovery and captivate all visitors.

The current, regional playground is one of Council’s most utilised, particularly by the influx of tourists in summer months. The playground is limited by:

• No accessible features
• Only caters for 0-8 years
• No nature-based play elements despite being next to the beach

The playground upgrade presents an opportunity to cater for a broader audience, create a point of difference for the tourist town and bring the playground up to a regional standard to meet the needs of visitors and the local community alike. Importantly, investing in this upgrade would act as a catalyst for the Bass Coast Dinosaur Trail project.
