About the Project
Bass Coast Shire Council appointed Wiltrack Earthmoving Pty Ltd under our annual supply contract to carry out stormwater renewal and flood mitigation works along a section of Seaward Drive, Cape Paterson.
Construction was completed on 24 November 2023. These works were fully funded by Council as part of our stormwater renewal program in the order of $50,000.
The aim of this project is to improve storm water drainage system in the surround area. These works will reduce the chance of flooding from excess water during rain events.

- Construction of a junction pit and extend 375mm
diameter stormwater pipe.
- Regrading the existing drain, rock protection, minor
vegetation clearing and top soiling.
- For safety reasons, this section of the street will be
a construction zone. Appropriate traffic/pedestrian measures will be in
place throughout the duration of the works.
- The use of plant and machinery including noisy works
such as earthworks and use of trucks delivering materials to site etc.
