About the Project

Council is currently working in collaboration with Wildlife Victoria, Phillip Island Nature Parks, Victoria University and a number of Councils to reduce our wildlife road toll.

Reliable funding is needed to:

• Undertake formal research projects resulting in publishable findings.
• Engage with road users to alter driver behaviour in areas of high risk to wildlife.

Assistance is needed to:

• Support temporary, localised changes to road law and guidelines to protect wildlife
• Support the innovation proposed by the research projects.
